Fishing in Clark County 
Clark County has seven named lakes with an approximate total of 1,741 acres. There are a total of 150 named and unnamed streams in Clark County totaling 2,476 surface acres. These 150 streams total about 593 miles.

Arbutus:  821 acres 

Mead:  324 arces

Sportsman's Lake:  300 acres 

Sherwood:  128 acres 

Rock Dam:  105 acres 

Emerson:  35 acres 

Snyder:  28 acres 


Fish Populations 
Clark County offers 3,700 acres of surface water for fish habitat. Game fish found in Clark County waters include muskellunge, walleye, large and small mouth bass, northern pike, and pan fish. There are approximately 20 miles of trout streams in Clark County and most streams are dependent on restocking programs. 

Our rock-strewn rivers and streams abound with fish, beaver, otter, muskrat, heron, sand hill crane, and eagle, giving the canoeist and fisherman memories from the tranquil life Clark County offers in its many forests, parks, campgrounds, and trails.
