Clark Countyis seeking bids from qualified vendors for the construction of a multi-purpose livestock barn at the Clark County Fairgrounds. Bid packets may be obtained from Clark County Forestry and Parks Department for a non-refundable fee of $75 for a printed copy or electronically through email upon request to Rick Dailey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bids shall be submitted to and received by the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department no later than 2:00 PM on March 5, 2020. Bids will not be accepted by fax or email. Bids will be publically opened at 2:00 PM on March 5, 2020 at the Clark County Courthouse, Room 101 (Auditorium), 517 Court Street, Neillsville, WI 54456. Bids are scheduled to be awarded at a public meeting scheduled for March 13, 2020.
Bids are being sought for the following scope of work:
Bid #1 – Civil Site Work and Water Pipe Installation
Bid #2 – Building Construction and Concrete
Bid #3 – Electrical and Fire Alarm
Bid #4 – Fire Suppression and Automatic Sprinkler System
A pre-bid meeting will be held on February 28, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Clark County Courthouse, Room 101 (Auditorium), 517 Court Street, Neillsville, WI 54456. All parties interested in bidding are strongly encouraged to attend. Representatives of the owner, civil engineer, and building designer will be present to discuss the project.
All site preparation and grading work to facilitate the concrete work shall be completed by September 20, 2020. Other civil site work and the water pipe installation work shall be completed by June 30, 2021. All concrete walls, footings, piers, and pilasters shall be completed by October 30, 2020. All building construction work on this project shall be substantially completed by June 30, 2021.
The award of contract will be made to the lowest, responsible/qualified bidder subject to the terms contained within the bid packet. Clark County reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids, or parts thereof.
