Hello Patrons and Guests,
As we prepare to open for the 19-20 season at Bruce Mound, we wanted to make you aware of all the updates and changes that have occurred over the past year. First, we are excited to announce that we will be opening as scheduled. Our first day open to the public will be Saturday December 14th, 2019. Our full season schedule can be viewed online at www.co.clark.wi.us/brucemound.
Next, we would like to tell you about some big changes tubing guests can expect to encounter on visits to Bruce Mound. The first and most visible change night tubers will notice is that our tubing lanes are now illuminated by multicolored flashing LED lights. These lights, as well as our new speaker system will allow tubers to party into the night while enjoying an upgraded tubing experience not previously available.
The next group of changes relate to season passes and daily visit prices. Bruce Mound full season pass prices were actually lowered by an average of 11%. These lower prices, along with our annual season discount sale make season long fun even more affordable. Purchasing a season pass is now easy thanks to our new reservation system. Access our new website at https://webtrac.co.clark.wi.us and you can purchase your pass ahead of time. Select daily ticket prices and Friday night season passes did see a slight increase, some of which have not seen increases since 2014. Guests ages five and under now qualify for a free Toddler ticket instead of needing a paid ticket. These free Toddler tickets are available at the ticket office daily with the purchase of any Adult, Student, Child, or Tubing ticket or season pass.
The final group of changes relates to the available food and beverage services and our carry in policy. New to the restaurant, will be the sale of limited fermented malt beverages. With the proper valid identification, guests will be able to make these purchases to accompany their meal orders. Our carry in policy was also amended to exclude all carry in items beyond the parking lot, with the exception of allowing these in the Rock Room during paid rentals. In preparation for increased demand of this space, we have decided to lower the rental cost to $37.00 a day. We also have plans in our 2020 budget to update this space. We strongly encourage parties or groups wishing to supply their own food and beverage to rent the Rock Room space for their planned visit to Bruce Mound. This space can be reserved online beforehand at our new reservation website of https://webtrac.co.clark.wi.us.
We are optimistic about the upcoming season and are eager for it to begin. Please know that all operational changes were made to benefit the longer-term continued operations of Bruce Mound Winter Sports Area. These changes direct us towards current industry standards as well as ensure efficient and effective operations, needed for continued success.
