Governor Releases Safer at Home FAQ

Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Secretary-designee Andrea Palm issued Emergency Order #12, Safer at Home order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, effective at 8 a.m. on Wednesday March 25th. On April 16, 2020, Secretary-designee Palm issued Emergency Order #28, which extended Safer at Home and made some changes to the initial order.

The changes from Emergency Order #28 went into effect on April 24. Safer at Home order will remain in effect until 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 or until a superseding order is issued.

On April 27, Secretary-designee Palm issued Emergency Order #34, which added even more opportunities for non-essential businesses to get back to work in a safe and responsible way.
